WeSchool hosts convocation ceremony for MMS & part-time master’s programme

S P Mandali's Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Mumbai, recently hosted convocation ceremony for the graduating batches of MMS (Masters in Management Studies) and three year part-time master’s degree programme in Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology and Finance. On the occasion, the chief guest Shreekanth Arimanithaya, senior vice president, Integrated Workforce Management and India co-managing director, DXC Technology India; Advocate S K Jain, chairman, Managing Council, S P Mandali and Local Managing Committee, WeSchool; Professor Dr. Uday Salunkhe, group director, WeSchool and Dr. S R Tendulkar, dean, Administration, WeSchool shared with the students their experience and words of wisdom for achieving success in career and personal life. Dr. Dilip Sheth, principal, S P College, Pune; Dr. Suhas Pednekar, principal, Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai and Dr.Shobhana Vasudevan, principal, R A Podar College of Commerce, also graced the occasion.

Sharing some life-lessons from his journey as a professional, Arimanithaya said, "Life is full of concrete experiences; we must reflect and learn from our observations. Learning is a continuous process and does not complete in a day. Hence, learn persistently. Lastly, as humble individuals, one must never forget where one comes from. Always express gratitude towards family, the main source of energy; teachers and professors, who have helped in every part of our life.”

Emphasising on the technological changes in the fast-paced world, Jain said, “Technology is playing a vital role across businesses. The rising role of technology suggests that change is inevitable. As young and growing professionals, keep relearning as you transform to another level in your careers. I wish all students the best in your future endeavours as you begin your new innings in professional life.”

Highlighting the role of global leaders, Dr. Salunkhe said, “In today’s well-connected world which is evolving with global disruptions, it is important to become an agile learner and execute ideas into actions. Therefore, I urge all to never settle for the goal you have achieved today. May sky be the limit for all your future projects.”
