For 12 exciting days, we had the pleasure of hosting exchange students from The Indian Public School, Tamil Nadu at our very own Rustomjee Cambridge International School, Dahisar, Mumbai. These days seemed like a colourful painting, filled with new friendships, learning, and fun adventures.

Imagine exploring famous places in Mumbai together, like a team of explorers. We walked through the bustling streets, visited iconic landmarks, and felt the pulse of the city. It was like discovering a treasure trove of stories and history that made us feel proud of where we live.

But that’s not all – we got to peek behind the scenes of big factories too! We wore curious hats and saw how things are made in real life. The whirring machines and busy workers showed us how ideas turn into things we use every day. It was like peeking into the future.

And the cultural tours were like magic carpets taking us on a journey through different traditions. We tasted new foods, listened to beautiful music, and watched dances that looked like colorful dreams. It was like traveling the world without leaving our school. But wait, there’s more! The Math Mela was a place of brainy wonders. We solved puzzles, played with numbers, and laughed a lot. It was like a playground for our minds, where even tricky problems turned into exciting games. When the sun set, we gathered around a cozy campfire. We shared stories, giggled at jokes, and enjoyed games. It was like a warm hug from nature, reminding us of the simple joys in life.

And then came the Poetry Slam – a stage for our hearts to speak. We wrote verses that rhymed with our feelings and thoughts. It was like a chorus of voices, each telling a unique story, yet all coming together like a song.

These 12 days were like a whirlwind of experiences. We laughed, we learned, and we created memories that will stay with us forever. To our  friends from Tamil Nadu , you brought a piece of your world to ours, and we’re thankful for the colorful threads you added to the tapestry of our school.

As we waved goodbye, our hearts were both happy and sad. Happy for the wonderful time we shared, and sad to see it end. But we know that this is not the end – it’s just a chapter in our book of friendships. Our school doors and hearts are always open for you, and we can’t wait to create more colorful memories together in the future.
