We have initiated innovative academic programs to meet emerging industry, local, regional, national and global needs and have developed academic processes that ensure continuous and meaningful engagement with industry partners and our extensive alumni network. Moreover we have significantly invested in state-of-the-art technology infrastructure and comprehensive faculty and staff training programs. These investments ensure our academic delivery is rigorous, innovative, and high-quality.
R&D and innovation initiatives. NMIMS University is focused on developing a strong research culture. We have established research clusters and centres of excellence, organise research seminars, workshops, and guest lectures to engage faculty and students with emerging technologies, recognising and rewarding innovative ideas through faculty development programs and seed grants.
We have also implemented a performance-based incentive system that rewards faculty for publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals. More importantly we have established a centralised IPR Cell to provide comprehensive support throughout the research lifecycle, from ideation and design to filing and award of patents. The university offers faculty and researchers one-on-one counselling, legal advice, and administrative support to enable them to translate research output into tangible products and innovations.
Roadmap to transforming India into a $30 trillion GDP economy by 2047. The three most prominent imperatives to achieve this goal are: comprehensive infrastructure development; cutting-edge technological advancement and innovation; holistic education and skill ecosystem development.
Our university is dedicated to nurturing a highly skilled and adaptable workforce through state-of-the-art educational infrastructure including advanced research laboratories and digital learning spaces, and comprehensive academic resources that provide students with immersive learning environments.
SVKM’s NMIMS University is deeply committed to aligning with national educational priorities and strategic resource allocation. We are optimistic that policymakers will recognise the critical importance of creating a comprehensive and supportive framework that empowers academic institutions like ours to contribute meaningfully to holistic educational development and skill enhancement.
