The top global management institutes list has been released by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Rankings 2020. In the Masters in Management category, three IIMs have grabbed the top ranks. This includes IIM Ahmedabad at 40th spot, IIM Bangalore at 44th and IIM Calcutta has been placed at the 100 to 110 rank group. IIM Bangalore has improved its ranking by making its way in the top 50 B-schools. Last year, it was placed at 71st position.
B-schools across the world were ranked in four categories – business analytics, finance, marketing and management. Each ranking was compiled on the basis of five key metrics such as employability, return on investment, thought leadership, entrepreneurship and alumni success and class and faculty diversity. The other insititues that were ranked in the QS Management Ranking 2020 are IIM Indore, IIM Udaipur and TA PAI Management Institute. These institutes were ranked in the 101 plus band in a total of 240 institute rankings.
The top institutes in the list include Penn (Wharton), Stanford, INSEAD, MIT (Sloan), Harvard and London Business School.

Last week, QS released the World Graduate Employability Rankings 2020. IIT-Bombay bagged the first position among Indian institutes. It climbed nearly 30 spots since last year, whose score was in the 141-150 range. This time the reputed institute scored in the 111-120 range.
