A five-year-old Bengaluru child has written an open letter to Prime minister Narendra Modi complaining about the City’s traffic chaos.
Modi was in Bengaluru on August 10 and inaugurated the 19.15-km BMRCL Metro corridor linking R V Road to Bommasandra in South Bengaluru. He also flagged off the Vande Bharat services between Bengaluru and Belagavi.
Taking the opportunity, Abhiroop Chatterjee, the father of the five-year-old wrote on social media platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), “PM is visiting Bangalore. My 5-year-old girl sees it as her chance to finally fix traffic.”
The child’s post read: “Narendra Modi ji, there is lots of traffic. We get late to school and the office. The road is very bad. Please help,” wrote five-year-old Arya.
This is not the first time that Bengaluru’s traffic chaos has been the core discussion of social media rant. From pothole ridden roads to traffic snarls that lead to commuters being stranded for hours, social media is flooded with posts each day on the issue.
