Navy Children School, Visakhapatnam, Nausena baugh wing is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school is a part of the Navy Children chain of schools promoted in 1965 under the aegis of Navy Education Society. The school offers education from kindergarten through class XII.
The motto of the school is “Gyanen Shobhate” meaning ‘Knowledge Embellishes’, which defines the school’s vision ‘Growth towards Eternity’. The school’s mission is to excel its students in thoughts, words and action to help them become good human beings and consistently strive to teach the children to love, laugh, value work and develop their unique talents.
The campus facilities include spacious and well-ventilated class rooms with Educomp smart boards, state-of-the-art auditorium, well equipped science laboratories, modern computer laboratories, well-stocked libraries, a Science park, a traffic park, healthy and hygienic cafeteria.

The school’s entry level is from nursery. However, there is no policy of automatic admission of nursery students in LKG. All admissions to class I are treated as fresh admissions and are dealt with as per rules in vogue.
The child must be 3 years old as on March 31 of the academic year in which admission is sought. No child would be eligible for admission in a class if the age is more than the maximum age prescribed. The maximum age would be relaxed by two years for differently-abled children. No admission test is conducted for admission to Class LKG.
All admissions will be subject to the approval of the SMC and subject to availability of seats, suitability of students and verification of relevant documents.
Priorities for admission are as follows:

Category-II: Children of serving Army /IAF/Coast Guard personnel, who are on deputation to Navy

* Children of all Ex-naval personnel given the status of Ex-servicemen will be eligible under Cat III. Personnel who do not qualify for this category will be accorded Category VII.
