Founded in 2003, The Jain International School (TJIS), Kanpur is a co-educational English medium day-cum-boarding school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. TJIS Kanpur operates under the aegis of Shrinathji Education and Cultural Trust.

The entire academic session is divided in two terms:
1. The firstterm runs from April to September and comprises two Formative Assessments (FA) – FA-I and FA-II, and First Summative Assessment (SA-I).
The CCE pattern aims at all-round development of the child.
2. The second term runs from October to March and comprises two FAs- FA-III and FA-IV, and Second Summative Assessment (SA-2). Besides this, pre-boards are conducted for the children who are writing board exams.
Extra-curricular activities:
The school encourages students to participate in various sporting and non-sporting activities such as basketball, football, cricket, table-tennis, judo, volleyball, rugby and taekwondo, dance, drama, art and Model United Nations participation.
