Sathya Sai Grama, Karnataka, witnessed the inauguration of the One World One Family World Cultural Festival 2025 today, organised by the One World One Family Mission in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).
The 100-day festival will bring together participants from 100 nations in a celebration of culture, spirituality, service, and shared humanity. Showcasing both sacred traditions and contemporary expressions, the event will feature interfaith dialogue, artistic performances, and cultural exhibitions aimed at reinforcing the vision of global unity.
In his address, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Culture, welcomed participating nations and announced a special IGNCA exhibition highlighting India’s cultural heritage. Mahendra D, Regional Director of IGNCA Southern Regional Centre, reiterated the festival’s vision of harmony and inclusivity.
Padma Bhushan Subramanian Ramadorai, chairperson of Mission Karmayogi Bharat, underscored the values of “caring and sharing, generosity, goodwill, understanding, and cooperation.” Dr T. B. Jayachandra, MLA from Sira, hailed the initiative as a continuation of a legacy rooted in service and love.
Delivering the keynote, Sadguru Madhusudan Sai, Founder of the One World One Family Mission, described culture as “connection, concern, collaboration, coexistence, and co-creation,” inviting the world to embrace the festival as a unique celebration of oneness.
The inaugural evening concluded with a rousing performance of Vande Mataram by students and staff of the Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence, setting a vibrant tone for the landmark global gathering.
