The campus of Eklavya School, Bengaluru, came alive on November 8 with colour, curiosity, and creativity as it hosted the Eureka Eklavya Festival 2025 — a day-long celebration of experiential learning for children aged 2 to 10. Organised in association with sponsors Basil, Zookeeper, Ikimono, The Baker’s Dozen, and The Rameshwaram Café, the festival welcomed children, parents, and educators to explore the joy of learning through play and shared discovery.
Unlike a conventional school event, the festival transformed the campus into an open, interactive learning space brimming with art, music, science, and storytelling. Children explored diverse activity zones at their own pace, while parents participated as co-learners, creating an atmosphere of community and connection.
A major highlight was the Prani Pet Sanctuary session, supported by Basil, where children interacted gently with animals, learning empathy and responsibility. Storytelling and puppetry sessions by Zookeeper, along with Ikimono’s vibrant Fabric Painting Workshop, inspired imagination and creativity, complemented by engaging giveaways and themed merchandise. The Rameshwaram Café added warmth to the day by providing wholesome meal boxes for families.
From the energy of the Drum Circle and the focus of Passionfruit Pottery to the excitement of 2D-to-3D drawing, each experience encouraged teamwork, curiosity, and self-expression. Eklavya’s educators also led interactive sessions such as Fun with Science, Little Builders, and Melody Makers, nurturing motor skills and problem-solving abilities.
Reflecting on the event, Siddarth Handa, co-founder of Eklavya Early Years and Eklavya School, said, “The Eureka Eklavya Festival is not just a celebration of learning; it’s a reminder that learning must be lived, not merely taught. Watching children lead their own discoveries reaffirmed our belief in the power of experiential education.”
The festival concluded on an inspiring note, leaving children and parents with lasting memories of hands-on exploration and connection — a true testament to Eklavya’s mission of fostering confident, empathetic, and creative learners.
