Take a break
Congratulations for your comprehensive Part-II of the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2025-26 (EW October) covering boarding, international, government, budget private, special needs and philanthropic schools. This year’s new Ivy League Schools category is a welcome classification.
However, next year, perhaps, my suggestion is that you take a break from your routine black and gold galactical covers.

Shocking survey result
For your information, Hindustan Zinc School, Chittorgarh, consistently holds the top position under all parameters — academic results, admissions, and overall performance.
In fact, admission is rarely available, and only in exceptional cases are new students admitted. Therefore, I was shocked to see your survey results in which our school is ranked #6 in Chittorgarh in the co-ed day category. I request you to review the basis of this ranking.
I’m unsure on what grounds or data this survey was conducted, as the results do not seem to reflect the actual status of our institution.

EWISR methodology query
I am writing on behalf of VPS Public School, Vijayawada, ranked # 283 all-India among co-ed day schools. We are eager to better understand the criteria and methodology used by EducationWorld when determining school rankings, as we aim to improve our school’s rank and continue providing the best possible education to our students.
Could you kindly provide clarification on the following points: evaluation criteria, weightage distribution, data sources, ranking process, frequency and updates, transparency and feedback.

Clarity call
La Martiniere Girls’ College, Lucknow, has consistently participated in the EducationWorld rankings over the years. Our institution has shown steady progress, moving from India #10 to #2 last year in the vintage legacy girls day schools category. We also received an EW Grand Jury award for mental health and well-being last year, testimony to our commitment to holistic education. This year despite significant advancements in both academic outcomes and infrastructure, our national rank has unexpectedly dropped to #5.
We are concerned about the evaluation parameters and would appreciate clarity on the specific areas where our performance was deemed to have declined.
