The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has declared the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2026 results for both first and second year students. The results were announced at 11:00 am from the board office in Hyderabad.
A higher pass percentage was recorded among girls compared to boys in both years, with the gap remaining consistent.
In the first year examinations, the overall pass percentage stood at 66.20 per cent. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 74.40 per cent, while boys stood at 57.69 per cent. A total of 2,49,110 girls appeared, of whom 1,85,331 passed. Among boys, 2,40,013 appeared and 1,38,475 cleared the examination.
In the second year, the overall pass percentage was 70.58 per cent. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 78.65 per cent, while boys achieved 62.50 per cent. Of the 2,54,050 girls who appeared, 1,99,813 passed. Among boys, 2,53,898 appeared and 1,58,677 cleared the examination.
The difference in performance was observed across both general and vocational streams.
Students can access their results through the official websites of the board and other authorised platforms. Applications for recounting and re-verification will be accepted from April 13 to April 20, 2026. Supplementary examinations are scheduled to commence from May 13, 2026.
