Aptech-MSU partnership
Mumbai, april 23. Aptech Ltd, a pioneer in global vocational training and learning solutions, signed an MoU with Medhavi Skills University (MSU), Sikkim. This initiative aims to create structured, long-term frameworks for skill development, vocational training, and degree-linked programs, to be delivered through project-specific engagements across India.
Under this joint initiative, Aptech will be the preferred Training and Implementation Partner for all jointly undertaken projects. MSU will be the certification authority, ensuring training alignment with frameworks such as the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and National Higher Education Qualifications Framework (NHEQF). Moreover, Medhavi Foundation will support the implementation of CSR-funded initiatives under the partnership.

Wadhwani-Le Rythme MoU
New delhi, april 21. Wadhwani Foundation and the Delhi-based Le Rythme Trust signed an MoU to jointly deliver an Employability Skills program to transform placement outcomes for students in vocational and skill-based learning institutions. The partnership commits to training over 700 students annually, equipping them with the skills, confidence and readiness that employers actively look for and traditional academic curricula rarely cover.
The 75-hour Employability Skills program under this MoU is designed to build students’ capabilities in core areas including effective communication, interview preparedness, resume writing, workplace etiquette, critical thinking, and team dynamics.
“This partnership gives our students access to a structured, outcome-driven framework that directly addresses the employability gap. The program will be a meaningful addition to their academic journey,” said Dr. Rajib Mukhapadhyay, Co-Founder & Trustee of Le Rythme, speaking on the occasion.

IInvenTiv 2026
Dhanbad, april 15. IInvenTiv 2026 — the fourth edition of IInvenTiv the flagship R&D fair of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, concluded at the IIT (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
Launched in 2022, IInvenTiv 2026 recorded its highest-ever participation with 190 innovations and startups showcased — 110 from IITs, 23 from NITs, one from IISER, and 11 from other technology institutions. The event also featured participation of 45 technology startups, 55 startup founders, 200 student innovators, 20 venture capital firms, 60 industry leaders, and 100 industry executives. Academic participation included 106 faculty members and 35-40 deans and institutional representatives from across the country.
Speaking after successful conclusion of the event, Prof. Sukumar Mishra, Director of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, said: “IInvenTiv 2026 reflected the growing strength and maturity of India’s research and innovation ecosystem. The scale of participation and the quality of innovations showcased here demonstrate how academic institutions are increasingly contributing to solving real-world challenges while driving India’s technological self-reliance. Collaborations forged during the event will play a crucial role in accelerating the translation of research into impactful solutions.”

CBU-BML Munjal MoU
Gurugram, april 30. Cape Breton University (CBU), Canada and the School of Engineering and Technology of BML Munjal University, Gurugram signed an MoU to build a “knowledge bridge” for cross-border learning, research, and skills development. The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration in the areas of student and faculty exchange, joint research initiatives, academic knowledge sharing, symposia, and scientific forums.
“This MoU is an important cornerstone of CBU’s efforts to expand its global engagement strategy. By partnering with BML Munjal, we aim to create meaningful academic exchanges and research opportunities that enrich learning experiences and drive innovation,” said David C.
