Avni Kejriwal, a commerce student from DPS Ranchi, has secured 500 out of 500 marks in the CBSE Class 12 examination following a re-evaluation of her answer scripts.
Avni said she had initially scored 95.2 per cent when the results were declared on May 13. Unsatisfied with the outcome, she applied for re-evaluation after the process opened on the CBSE website.
Following the review, her score was revised to full marks across all five subjects, taking her aggregate to 100 per cent. Avni said she was pleased with the revised result.
Speaking about her study routine, she said she focused on completing daily academic targets rather than counting study hours. She added that students should use social media in moderation and ensure it does not affect their studies.
The daughter of businessman Mitesh Kejriwal and homemaker Poonam Kejriwal, Avni said she plans to pursue higher studies with the aim of starting her own business in the future.
DPS Ranchi principal Dr Jaya Chauhan congratulated Avni on her achievement, stating that her performance reflected determination and focus and would serve as an example for other students.
