Canadian International School donates ₹10 lakh to support Bengaluru girls’ shelter

Canadian International School (CIS), Bengaluru, has donated ₹10 lakh as the platinum sponsor of Kiara Music Academy’s production, In the Mood, with the funds directed to BOSCO Rainbow Home.

The musical and dance production featured performances by young artists across genres. CIS supported the event to promote youth participation in the arts while raising funds for the local shelter.

BOSCO Rainbow Home, an initiative of BOSCO Bangalore, provides shelter, care and education to girls rescued from the streets and difficult family circumstances. The contribution will support its bridge education programmes, healthcare, meals and residential care.

“Education and opportunity should extend beyond the boundaries of our campus,” a CIS spokesperson said. “By directing our sponsorship funds to BOSCO Rainbow Home, we hope to contribute to a safer and more empowered future for these young girls.”

Representatives of Kiara Music Academy thanked CIS for supporting the production and its associated social initiative.
