Ebenezer International School Bangalore (EISB) is a co-educational day-cum-residential school. Founded in 2006 by well-known educationist Dr. Abraham Ebenezer, the school is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CICSE), New Delhi, the Cambridge International Assessments Examinations (CAIE), UK and the International Baccalaureate (IB), Geneva. It offers education from kindergarten to class XII. Students have the option of either writing the ICSE (class X) and ISC (class XII) or CAIE’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A level exams.
The mission of the school is to create a path-breaking educational institution that keeps pace with the rapid strides being made in the field of knowledge.
The school’s 9.5 acre campus offers state-of-the-art academic and sports facilities. They include modern classrooms, conference hall, and contemporary laboratories for physics, chemistry, and biology and computer science. The laboratories located over two floors are also equipped with computers with internet access and LCD projectors.
The library offers several thousand volumes and subscribes to all leading newspapers, magazines and non-print resources and storage. Informal reading spaces and special reading cubicles are provided. The library also has a study research area containing all the latest reference material with computers and wi-fi Internet facilities.
The computer lab has a student to computer ratio of 1:1. Students can access the multi-media centre, enabled with multi-modal teaching and multi-sensory learning facilities. Slides and overhead projectors, sound and video systems and networked computers integrating sound, animation, text, graphics and images are available.
The health centre is open throughout the working hours of the school with a doctor on call and two separate wards for girls and boys in case treatment requires bed rest. General health check is conducted annually for all students by pediatricians from Narayana Hrudalaya, Bangalore. Reports of the health check are conveyed to parents in case the students need treatment.
EISB also provides a cafeteria and a tuck shop which serves a wide variety of snacks and beverages. The entire campus is protected from fire hazards and has a generator for alternate power supply.
Spread over 9.15 acres of land the school’s facilities also include solar power that provides basic lighting and heating options.
Moreover coaching for athletics, basketball, cricket, football, and lawn tennis is offered by the school’s sports department.

Admission and registration forms can be downloaded from the school website. Parents are invited to visit the campus followed by a discussion with the admissions team and Director of Academics. The preschool admits children above 2.5 years.
Admission Policies
Interactive sessions with potential candidates and parents initiate the admissions process for preschool to class VI. Students from class VII onwards have to write an entrance test in English, math and second language. Admission and registration forms can be mailed to [email protected]
Dr Abraham Ebenezer, Founder Chairman of Ebenezer International School, Bangalore has been conferred with several awards, most noted of them being ‘The Derozio Award’. He was also honored with the Rajyotsava Award for Excellence in Education, 2005 by the Karnataka state government and the Excellence Award for Schools in India instituted by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in 2004.
There are two separate hostels for boys and girls. Each floor of the hostels accommodates 30 students on twin or three-sharing basis in spacious, well-ventilated rooms.
A dining block with two separate kitchens serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. There is also provision to cater personalized menus for foreign students.
