Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was founded on November 30, 1983 by Dr. K.M. Munshi and is one among the 118 Kendras managed by the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan Society. Today, the school boasts an enrollment of 3000 students from nursery to senior secondary and maintains a teacher student ratio of 1:30.
The school hosts modern infrastructure including well ventilated classrooms, a well stocked library, a computer lab, well equipped science labs, a canteen, dance room, music room, AV room, a medical room and a large play area.
The school follows the CBSE curriculum and offers education from pre nursery to class XII. Apart from regular academics, it promotes various clubs such as the interact club, eco club, cycling club, quiz club, book club, IT club etc. The school also participates in various international student exchange programs with schools in countries like Singapore, Germany and Japan.

Registration for admission in pre nursery takes place in December first week at the school office. Selection is done by draw of lots, which usually takes place in January.
In the CBSE class X examination held in March 2012, 61 students of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh scored a perfect CGPA of 10 and 49 students scored a CGPA between 9 and 9.8.
The school is ranked among the best co-ed day schools in India by the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2021-22.
