GPS is affiliated to the CBSE and Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE), UK. In the junior school (class I to V), a teacher-student ratio of 1:10 allows for personalized tutoring. Weekly skill classes are conducted in art, computer lab, library, music, physical education, circle time activities, field trips etc.
Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluations (CCE) is follows. Class V students have a written component in their evaluation program. Feedback is regularly given to students and parents through open house, and remedial sessions are scheduled for children who need help.
Middle school students (classes VI to VIII) have the opportunity to participate in various cultural and sport activities. Academic achievement and social interaction are the focus.
High students can choose from two different boards of education: CBSE and CIE. Students who opt for CAIE write the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exam at the end of class X.
Extracurricular education
The music department trains students in various instruments like the piano, keyboard, guitar, violin and drums. Students are taken through the curriculum of the Trinity College of London (TCL) and those playing the guitar and the piano are encouraged to take the graded examinations conducted by the Trinity College of London. Students also participate in cultural and literary activities, art and craft, and are coached in swimming, athletics, football, basketball, and cricket.

Stepping Stones, the kindergarten section of Global Public School, consists of Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3, and admits children between the age of 2 ½ to 5 ½ years. The admission process begins every October for admission into term beginning June next year.
