Admission to Nursery is done on the basis of observation/interaction with the child. A written evaluation is conducted for the students seeking admission to class I – XII. Only those candidates who clear this evaluation, are called for interaction. During interaction, presence of both the parents is required.

The students of Delhi Public School, Indira Nagar won the trophy for their performance in Western Music in the inter-school cultural event, Crossroads organized by St. Francis College. The school in its endeavor to contribute to the society has started Shiksha Kendra, launched in 2003 where children of the lesser privileged sections of the community are provided free education.
Being a day school, DPS Indira Nagar does not offer hostel facility.
