MC Kejriwal Vidyapeeth (MCKV) Howrah is a boys’ day school sited in the heart of Liluah, in Howrah, West Bengal. Founded in 1997, the school is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi and follows the motto “Knowledge leads to liberation & eternal bliss.”
The school’s vision is to nurture the students into individuals who are motivated to think, question, adapt and grow so that students can excel individually and contribute towards the betterment of our society, the country and the world.
The school campus spreads over three acres facilitating a large assembly hall, an AV room equipped with a LCD projector, spacious classrooms, and well-equipped modern laboratories for science, math, geography, robotics, computers and history. The central library features four sections – one each for primary, middle and senior schools, and one for the staff, with over 14,000 books and a large collection of audio and video resources.
Sports facilities include playgrounds for volleyball, cricket and karate and rooms for chess, carom, etc.
Affiliated with the CISCE, the school offers education from Montessori through class XII, adopting different assessment patterns for each class. The school uses Educomp’s Smart Class technology to make classes more interesting and learner-friendly.
A variety of teaching methods are employed to encourage experiential learning. Students are taken on educational trips. In 2013, students visited the Kennedy Space Centre, and attended a three-day workshop in Robotics. They also had an opportunity to interact with astronauts.
Co-curricular:
Students learn art and craft, clay modeling, dance, music, dramatics, robotics, guitar, keyboard, tabla, yoga and more. Sports include cricket, football, chess, carrom, karate, table tennis, and volleyball. Students also participate in NCC and Scouts. They can be part of the Nature Club too.

MCKV Howrah is ranked among the top boys day schools in India by the EducationWorld India School Rankings 2020-21.
The school won the Telegraph School of the Year award in 2013.
MCKV has received accreditation for the British Council International School Award in 2011. It was also granted membership of the International Boy’s School Coalition in 2012. It is the second school in India and South Asia, after The Doon School to become a member of the prestigious coalition.
