Kuriakose Elias School (KES), Kottayam is a co-educational day cum boarding school founded in 1991. The school is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and aims at producing successful leaders with competency and excellence.

The school is keen on developing the creative potential of the students through co-curricular activities. Every Friday afternoon is spent exclusively for co-curricular activities. Training is imparted in music (vocal & instrument), dance, painting and drawing, roller-skating, karate, and yoga by competent experts in the respective field. Cultural competitions are held annually for all the sections of the schools.Sports activities include Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Badminton and Athletics.

SportsThe school admits students of all castes and creeds, without any discrimination. However, students are selected on merit basis, provided that they have a certificate of good conduct from the institution last attended. Admission to LKG begins at the end of December (of the previous academic year), and admission to other classes commences by the end of April. Students seeking admission to Kindergarten or LP section should produce the original birth certificate at the time of admission.
Documents to be produced at the time of admission are as follows:
1. Original certificate and mark list of the qualifying examination.
2. Conduct certificate obtained from the institution last attended.
3. Community certificate for the SC/ST students.
4. Two passport size photographs.
Fees:
The school fee is collected in ten installments. Special fee for the academic year is collected along with the first installment, before the school reopens. The other installments are remitted at the office before the 10thof every month; defaulters are levied a fine ofRs. 25 after the due date and Rs.50 after the month for each month. Boarding facility is offered to outstation boys and girls. Boys’ boarding house is directly under the administration of the CMI Fathers, while the girls’ boarding house is managed by the Salvatorian Sisters.
