Promoted in 2004, Sat Paul Mittal School is a coeducational day school located in Ludhiana, Punjab. The 3.06 acre school campus hosts a well-planned, scientifically designed building with state-of-the-art infrastructure including 60 spacious classrooms equipped with ICT teaching-learning facilities. The school also houses 12 laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, math, e-lab, THOTS lab, STEAM lab, social studies and geography.
The school’s impressive sports infrastructure includes a cricket ground, basketball court, football ground, billiards table, swimming pool, lawn tennis court, badminton court, squash facilities, gymnasium, volleyball court, skating rink, yoga room, table tennis hall, recreational/games centre, among others. Sat Paul Mittal School has seamlessly integrated technology in the classroom. The teaching-learning techniques followed in the classroom include cross learning, context-based learning, adaptive teaching, argumentation, computational learning and evaluation based learning
Evaluation in everyday teaching are done using hot seat questioning, exit slips, fist to five fingers, mind maps, open-ended questions, KWL charts. The tools used for evaluation are include Kahoot, Google Forms, cartoons/ Toondo, flip grid and Skype
The Satyan Entrepreneurship Program (SEP) offered by the school is an exhaustive integrated programme which aims to develop the creative capacity, entrepreneurial confidence and help students acquire necessary skills to build scalable startups that solve real problems. The students develop a perceptive, sensitive and critical response to the role of business in a local (school) context through market research, branding, school canteens and startups. The Start-Up Edge, an ambitious entity of the Satyan Innovation Fest is an extension of the SEP programme and trains a community of schools to become entrepreneurs.
The school’s initiative called We Connect aims towards creating a harmony amongst all the four major pillars i.e. students, teachers, parents and the community.

Students work diligently with the community through their various community connect programs. Fellowship programme- As a part of the R&D initiative, the school has introduced an internship programme wherein five B.Ed trainees have been incorporated into the fold of the institution to provide them comprehensive and exhaustive training in various aspects of teaching and learning processes. Learning Enhancement Program (LEP): aims at equipping students to learn the keys to academic success, such as the acquisition of learning strategies, time management skills, enhancement of motivation and positive learning attitudes.
Satyan Reading Challenge Program: encourages reading skills and build their confidence. Students are given different themes to work upon over the year and submit a short synopsis or a review of the book according to the task given. The activities are selected with the ultimate purpose of the challenge being to develop a long-lasting love of reading.
Showcase-Student Led Conference: Unveiling the hidden potential of the students is of paramount significance during the formative years. These years will form the fundamental building blocks of their future health, happiness, growth, development and learning achievement. In consonance with it, The Satyan Showcase is organized twice in a year in elementary classes’ i.e. PV-1. The inception behind this thought lay in the sole motive to provide an opportunity for the students to showcase their talent. The approach is to facilitate hands-on experience and learning that will structure their thought process and help them to explore different realms of knowledge and imagination.
Show n Tell: The Show and Tell activity is conducted for letters and their sounds, for various other concepts like plants, transport etc. The activity helps to hone the speaking skills and build up confidence amongst the students. These interactions foster oral language by building vocabulary, self-expression, pronunciation and increase their confidence, presentation skills and stage presence in front of all the students and teachers.
DEAR (Drop Everything and Read): This is a reading ritual that has 20 minutes slotted in the time table from PV to X. Dear period not only develops healthy reading habits but also strengthens the bond between the teacher and the taught. Through inculcating good reading habits, we aim at nurturing emotionally intelligent individuals. To further expose our children to the fascinating world of books, we organize Book Clubs and Book Fairs at regular intervals.
The Techvantage programme – The role of technology is to make complex things simpler. At Sat Paul Mittal School, the technology is integrated with the curriculum so skillfully and effortlessly that learning becomes more meaningful and relatable. The Gamification Challenge, an ambitious entity of the Satyan Innovation Fest is an extension of the programme and trains a community of schools to become technologically fluent.
The school allocates 220 days every academic year for teaching training programmes.

Age for Admission
PV: 3.6 – 4.6 years as on March 31 of the year of joining. For subsequent classes add one year. Admissions to classes X and XII are not granted.
Class XI: Admission is based on the marks secured in the class X examination. Following streams are offered:

Provisional Admission to class XI
Provisional Admission is granted to the students of class XI on the basis of pre-board result. The classes begin in the second or third week of June. In case, the student fails to secure the required percentage in the board examination, the provisional admission shall stand cancelled. The regular admission to class XI will be done in June after the declaration of board result.

An attested copy of class X report card is to be submitted.
An attested copy of the Board Mark sheet has to be submitted while seeking admission in the month of June.
School leaving certificate in original has to be submitted while seeking admission in the month of June.
Migration certificate in original has to be submitted while seeking admission in the month of June.
The school reserves the right to change the stream based on the performance of the child.
