Adding Seven New Test Centers in India Increases Student Accessibility for CFAI

Registration for the CFA tests in November 2023 is now open through the CFA Institute, a professional organisation for innovative thinking in finance. To provide accessibility and convenience for applicants, the organisation has opened seven new test sites in Coimbatore, Nagpur, Noida, Raipur, Ranchi, Surat, and Visakhapatnam in response to the growing demand for the CFA Program. The total number of test centre cities now stands at 23 across India and more than 400 globally, in besides the four new test centres added for the exams in February 2023.

Arati Porwal, Country Head, India at CFA Institute remarked,”CFA Program is the preferred professional qualification for a career in finance and investment management. CFA Institute aims to continuously improve the journey for candidates from around the country, enabling them to accomplish their life and career goals. The expansion of our test center network is a step in that direction. It will help reduce associated travelling costs to take exams and make the Program more accessible to those aspiring to be investment management professionals.”

The CFA Program has a strong or high influence on 78% of new CFA Program candidates’ careers, according to the impact evaluation of CFA Program report published by the CFA Institute in January 2023. The report also showed that multinational corporations (MNCs) are still a major source of employment for CFA Program participants, and that the average annual pay of a prospective CFA Charterholder in India is roughly INR 28.6 lakhs.
