AlmaBetter & IIT Guwahati partner for data science, AI, web development certifications

AlmaBetter, a global edtech platform backed by Kalaari Capital, has entered into a collaboration with the E&ICT Academy at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. This partnership enables learners to acquire advanced certifications in Full Stack Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as Full Stack Web Development. The E&ICT Academies are a joint initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) of the Government of India, IITs, and NITs.

Under this collaboration, E&ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati, and AlmaBetter aim to enhance learners’ employability in fields like Data Science and Software Engineering. The curriculum, endorsed by E&ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati, grants learners an additional Advanced Certification from the institution, enhancing their resumes with an IIT-certified global standard education. Learners will have access to guest lectures by IIT Guwahati faculty and the option for campus immersion at the IIT Guwahati campus. Upon completion of this certification, learners can include the prestigious IIT endorsement on their resumes, boosting their career prospects.

According to the organisation’s press release this partnership students interested in IIT-certified programs can now access a global curriculum with a focus on job outcomes, supported by AlmaBetter’s extensive network of over 700 hiring partners.
