Alwar Public School, Alwar is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Started in 1978 by Shankar Lal Memorial Education Foundation, the school is now a part of the GoodEarth Foundation. It offers education from nursery through class XII.
The school campus hosts several blocks; the primary block houses a well stocked library, an infirmary, activity room, art room, junior computer lab, amphitheatre with seating capacity for more than 1000 children. The school also houses well equipped labs for physics, chemistry, biology and computer, music and dance room and splash pool for pre primary section.
The sports infrastructure includes facilities for indoor games such as badminton, carom, chess, table tennis, yoga and outdoor games such as athletics, basket ball, cricket, football, hand ball and swimming.
At the preprimary level, children get oriented to social interaction, enjoy, play and learn, develop motor and fine skills. In the primary school, children are encouraged to be curious and ask questions, learn with passion, explore and experiment and develop learning habits that last for lifetime. Middle school aims to develop individuals who accept and respect uniqueness in every individual, communicate and express their opinion with confidence, think actively and build and integrate concepts.
Senior school students are trained to introspect, identify and express one’s unique strength as individuals, integrate learning with real life and become thinkers, solve problems and express concepts clearly in speech and writing. At senior secondary stage, the school offers three streams: science, humanities and commerce.

Registration for admission to nursery takes place from January to March. The age eligibility for admission to nursery is 2.8 years on April 1 of the year in which admission is sought. Admissions to nursery, LKG, UKG, and class I include an interaction with the child and parent. Admission to Class II and above is made on the basis of a written test followed by an interaction with the child and parents.
