Amity University, Bengaluru and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) recently co-organized a workshop on AI, Data Analytics, and Astrobiology highlighting their collaborative efforts in space research. The event featured key figures such as Dr. S. Somanath, Chairman of ISRO, Dr. Prakash Chauhan, Director of the National Remote Sensing Centre, and Dr. Sudheer Kumar N, Director of Capacity Building & Public Outreach at ISRO, along with other esteemed scientists.
Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President of Amity Education Group, expressed gratitude to all participants virtually, with key remarks from Chancellor Dr. Aseem Chauhan and other senior officials. Dr. W. Selvamurthy detailed Amity’s contributions to space research, including various specialized centers and student achievements in NASA competitions.
Dr. Prakash Chauhan discussed the use of advanced technologies like Machine Learning, AI, and Astrobiology for optimizing NRSC’s extensive datasets. Dr. S. Somanath emphasized Amity’s potential to create a robust ecosystem for Space, Science, and Technology and assured ISRO’s support for collaborative growth.
The workshop included presentations on AI, Data Science, and Astrobiology, showcasing the research achievements and future goals of both Amity and ISRO. This event represents a step forward in their shared vision of advancing space research and technology.
