Amity University hosted an interactive seminar for principals from 22 prestigious schools across Delhi NCR, including notable institutions such as Ahlcon Public School in Mayur Vihar, Army Public School in New Delhi, Airforce Bal Bharati in Lodhi Road, Blue Bells Model School in Gurugram, Global Indian International School in Noida, Holy Public School in Greater Noida, Delhi Public School in RK Puram, and Mothers International in New Delhi, among others. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about Amity’s Global Programs, which offer students international exposure, and to highlight Amity’s strong collaborations with renowned foreign universities to boost enrollment.
During the seminar, Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Group Vice Chancellor of Amity Universities, presented an overview titled “Global opportunities through International Exposure at Amity”. He emphasized the pivotal role schools play in shaping students’ futures and personalities during their formative years. Amity provides Class 12th students with opportunities to visit prestigious international universities, preparing them for a global competitive work environment. Through programs like the Amity Global Study Program, students can earn foreign university degrees at a lower cost with a high return on investment. Participants in Amity’s Global Study Program, Study Abroad Program, and 3 Continent Program have reported increased self-confidence, enhanced skills, and competitiveness on par with their international peers.
Maj. Gen. Bhaskar Chakraborty, Director Admissions at Amity University, elaborated on the various programs offered, describing Amity as a sea of opportunities that empowers students to play significant roles in India’s evolving landscape. He provided detailed insights into Amity University’s course offerings.
The seminar included a Q&A session where Ms. Shalini Agarwal, Principal of Summerfields Public School in Green Park, New Delhi, commended Amity’s global initiatives and posed questions regarding career counseling sessions for students at Amity. Ms. Pragya Paliwal, Principal of Manav Bharti India International School in New Delhi, asked about student placement opportunities.
Following the seminar, the principals toured the Amity campus, visiting the Central Library, Amity School of Communication Studio, and Amity Innovation Incubator.
