Amity University, Noida has recently launched the 4-8 week Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Programme (USRF 2024) at its Noida campus. This fellowship is designed to provide undergraduate students from across India and around the world with a unique opportunity to engage in innovative research projects. The program spans various fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Science, Pharmacy, and Biotechnology, and allows students to work under the supervision of Amity University’s esteemed faculty. Participants in the program receive a fellowship of Rs 1000 per week and are provided with free accommodation in the campus hostels for the duration of the fellowship.
Prof. Dr. MK Dutta, Director of the Amity Center for Artificial Intelligence, shared his views on the program, stating that USRF 2024 has garnered a tremendous response, making it one of the most popular research fellowship programs among undergraduate students from a wide range of disciplines. The program received over 1000 applications from 28 states, with applicants coming from prestigious institutions such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, IISERs, and various Central Universities. Based on merit, 30 students have been selected to participate in the USRF 2024 fellowship. These students, representing areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Nano Physics, Applied Sciences, and Pharmacy, will undertake their fellowship under the mentorship of Amity faculty, working on cutting-edge research projects.
