Anant National University, India’s first DesignX University in Ahmedabad, has launched a 24/7 medical service on campus in partnership with Blue Circle Medi Services, ensuring comprehensive healthcare access for all community members.
Building on the previous setup that included a full-time nurse and a visiting doctor, the new infirmary features a four-bed daycare unit staffed by qualified nursing professionals and a doctor available around the clock. The facility is equipped with health monitoring tools, can administer IV fluids, perform wound dressings, and provide essential medical treatments. It also maintains a well-stocked inventory of essential medicines for prompt attention to common health issues. For advanced medical support, the university has tie-ups with nearby hospitals for seamless access to tertiary care when needed.
To support the mental well-being of students and staff, a qualified counsellor will be available during the day, with 24/7 access for urgent mental health concerns. This initiative fosters a supportive environment prioritizing both mental and physical health.
