The Annual Day celebration, an important day in Greenwood High’s calendar was filled with mixed emotions of joy and nostalgia as we commemorated the passing academic year 2018-2019 of the students at Greenwood High.
This function was celebrated on 3rd April, 2019. Students along with their parents and the faculty members of Greenwood High celebrated their Annual Day with unprecedented fanfare as well as great enthusiasm and zeal.
The theme for the annual day was “Prithvi” which is the Sanskrit name for the earth. It was well brought out by the students from grade 1 to grade 9-11 through their spectacular dance performances that displayed their talent and fervor and inspiring songs that were sung by the school choir. In each enchanting dance and song, we were reminded the importance of the preservation of our Earth and that Earth is of vital importance for the coming generations.
