Apeejay School, Noida is a coeducational, day and residential school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi since May 1983. It was promoted under the aegis of Apeejay Education Society in 1981 by Dr. Satya Paul.
Having started with 186 students, the school prepared its first batch of 11 students for the All India Secondary School Examination in 1984, all of whom passed with first division. Today the school boasts around 3700 students and 150 staff members
The school campus is spread over 15 acres and comprises a pre-primary block, a primary block, middle block and a senior block.
The pre-primary block hosts hexagonal, well ventilated rooms and a play area comprising multi action play systems, climbers, swings, a sand pit, storytelling corner, splash pool, amphitheatre, a duck pond and aviaries. It also offers a computer laboratory with an LCD projector for the students to learn through Computer Aided Learning (CAL).
The primary building hosts classes from I to V, a well stocked library, a social science lab, math lab, science lab, two computer labs, a TV/AV room, two art rooms, music room, dance room and a yoga room, besides a big multi-purpose hall.
The middle block hosts well ventilated class rooms for classes VI-VIII. The block offers four well equipped computer labs, an LCD lab with smart board, yoga, music and sculpture rooms and an infirmary.
The senior block hosts class rooms for classes IX-XII, well equipped science labs, mathematics lab, computer labs and an art room. Apeejay was amongst the first few schools to offer Biotechnology course in Noida.
The school offers an auditorium that can accommodate about 1500 students. Sports infrastructure includes a swimming pool and facilities for cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and throw ball.
The pre primary wing of Apeejay School, Noida includes nursery and kindergarten classes, and follows the curriculum prescribed by the Council for Educational and Professional Services (CEPS). The subjects taught in the pre-primary section are English, Hindi, number work, environmental studies, music, art and craft. The focus areas are physical, language, personal, emotional, social, intellectual/cognitive, aesthetic development etc.
The subjects taught in the primary classes are English, mathematics, Hindi, German, environmental studies, general science, social studies, general knowledge, computer science, art, yoga, aerobics, music, physical education and value education.
For classes VI – VIII, learning takes the course of interactive methodology whereby the students are encouraged to actively participate in classroom discussions and be a part of the learning process. The main subjects taught are English, mathematics, Hindi, German, Sanskrit, environmental studies, general science, social studies, general knowledge, computer science, art, yoga, music, dance, vocal and instrumental music and physical education.
In classes IX –X, the curriculum is designed to encourage higher order thinking, reasoning, analytical and logical applications. At this level, the students are prepared for the CBSE board examinations.
In class XI, students can opt for science or commerce stream, which enables them to appear for the All India Secondary School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) conducted by the CBSE at the end of class XII.

Admissions are open from the nursery level onwards. Admissions for classes K.G. to IX are subject to the availability of seats against outgoing students. No admissions are granted in classes X and XII.
Eligibility:
The child should be aged between three and four years as on March 31 of the academic session in which the child seeks admission to nursery.
Process
Advertisement for registration to nursery is published in the leading newspapers like Hindustan Times, Times of India, in September.
The candidates along with their parents are called for a school visit to interact with the teachers.
Short listed candidates are then called for an interaction with the admission committee. The committee comprises of principal, vice principal and the in-charge of pre-primary section.
Admissions for KG-IX
Admissions are done strictly on the basis of number of seats available.
An oral interaction with the child is conducted for the classes KG and I.
Written assessment is conducted for the classes II to IX on the basis of the prescribed syllabus for the admission to that particular class.
Students who qualify the written and oral test are called for an interaction with the principal subsequently. The applicant must be accompanied by the parents.
Admission is granted according to the merit list prepared on basis of the performance of the student in the written test and the interaction.
Admission in XI
Admissions are offered in two streams i.e. science and commerce.
Admission in a particular stream is based on the class X Board results, according to the school’s admission criteria.
The list of the candidates, who qualify according to the merit, is displayed in the month of June.

The school is part of the UKIERI Scheme (UK and India Education Research Initiative).
The school collaborates in an exchange program with the Raffles School, Singapore. The visiting students from Raffles School, Singapore conducted The Green Audit with the students of Apeejay School, Noida.

There is also a reading area which provides five national dailies and eleven periodical magazines along with educational bulletins on various subjects based on the latest C.B.S.E. syllabus.
