Apeejay School, Pitampura, Delhi is a co-educational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers the All India Secondary and Senior Secondary Examinations. The school has a well-equipped science park. Various concepts of science are taught to the students in a play way method using these swings or apparatuses.

The Apeejay campus also houses the multi-purpose open air auditorium, an LCD room and has transport facilities consisting of 22 buses covering nearly all places from where the children commute to school.
The primary education module is designed to follow the axiom “discovering the syllabus is more important than covering it”. The working schedules of classes I and II have been designed in such a way that they have ‘short respite’ periods after every 45 minutes of learning.
The middle school curriculum uses a wide range of methods to promote interaction during regular class periods including discussions and practical work. Experimentation and lecture methods are mainly adopted for teaching general science. Social science periods are made interesting by making use of project work and frequent use of timelines to correlate events. Language periods are blended with group discussions, etc.
The senior school curriculum adheres to the CBSE guidelines. In class XI, only grades are given as per CEEE. Class XI students are given both marks and grades. For final promotion in class IX, 50 percent weightage of first term and 50 percent weightage of second term are taken into account. For final promotion in Class XI – 40 percent weightage of first term and 60 percent weightage of second term are taken into account.
The curriculum aims to achieve cognitive, affective and psychomotor excellence and Inculcate values and foster cultural learning and international understanding in an interdependent society.
Teaching strategies focus on making classroom sessions interactive and learning an enjoyable process by employing techniques like group work, project work, classroom discussions and practicals.
