Arihant Academy Ltd, Mumbai’s leading coaching institute for SSC, ICSE, CBSE, Science, and Commerce, has acquired a majority stake in Zen Educational and Learning (ZEAL Academy), renowned for producing IITians and doctors. Valued at INR 17 crores, this acquisition allows Arihant to expand its academic portfolio in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, reaching a broader student base with enhanced learning methods.

By combining Arihant’s expertise in science and commerce with ZEAL Academy’s focus on IIT, JEE (Mains & Advanced), and NEET preparation, students will benefit from high-quality education and infrastructure across multiple locations. This acquisition also strengthens Arihant’s presence in Navi Mumbai, providing comprehensive education for STEM students from foundation courses to competitive exam preparation.

Anil Kapasi, Managing Director of Arihant Academy, highlighted the strategic importance of the acquisition, saying it allows the academy to extend its geographic reach and enrich the learning experience for higher-grade students. “This move aligns with our vision for growth, creating value for students, parents, and educators,” he added.

ZEAL Academy, founded by IITians, has produced over 1000 IITians and offers courses from classes 8-12, focusing on JEE and NEET exams. Kunal Pathak, Partner at ZEAL, emphasized the significance of the acquisition in driving growth and innovation, benefiting students with enhanced learning opportunities.

Samir Sanghvi, Co-founder at InCorp Global, which provided advisory services for the acquisition, stated that the transaction reflects InCorp’s commitment to supporting fast-growing organizations. InCorp’s cross-functional team handled all aspects of the deal, from due diligence to regulatory compliance.
