Promoted in 1987 with the vision of providing quality education at an affordable cost to the wards of Army personnel, Army Public School (APS) Meerut is a coeducational English medium senior secondary school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Besides wards of Army personnel, the school also offers limited seats for civilian children. The school aims to groom children into productive and responsible citizens with human values.
APS Meerut’s 20 acre campus hosts well enabled infrastructure to support academic and co-curricular excellence including spacious classrooms, well equipped laboratories, a well resourced library, Computer labs, playground, hobby clubs, health club and medical facility, among others.
Affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi, the school offers classes from I to XII. The school also offers career counseling to enable selection of maximum number of students in professional courses.
Extra-curricular activities
APS Meerut stresses equally on scholastic and non-scholastic development of children. Besides sports, students are encouraged to engage in a wide array of extra and co-curricular activities such as debates, declamations, recitation, extempore, art & craft, music, dramatics, paintings, excursions, among others.

Admission for wards of serving Army personnel is open throughout the year. The strength of civilian students in each class is not more than 20 percent.

Being a day school, it does not offer accommodation facility.
