AryaGlobal students honored with invitation to Republic Day parade

Arya Gurukul, Kalyan’s Air NCC Cadet Master Ved Nilesh Ghanekar has emerged victorious in the prestigious Veer Gatha 4.0 competition. His beautiful painting has earned him this accolade. He follows the footsteps of his predecessor, Air Ncc Cadet Hitesh Kumkar.

Similarly, St. Mary’s High School’s Mst. Shravan Dinesh Gaikwad and Ms. Trisha Nirmal Pillai represented the 1 Maharashtra Naval NCC Unit, Mumbai, under the Maharashtra Directorate at the parade in Delhi.

Cadet Master Ved Nilesh Ghanekar was recognized at the Veer Gatha 4.0- a joint initiative of the Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Education. He has won a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and an opportunity to witness the Republic Day parade in Delhi as a special guest of the Ministry of Defense. He received the reward from the hands of the Hon’ble Defense Minister, Shri. Rajnath Singh.

In this unique project students from Std. 3rd to 12th from schools across the country sent in their entries for various categories such as essays, stories, poems, paragraph writing and multimedia presentations on Gallantry awardees and freedom fighters.

Approximately 1.76 crore students around 2.31 lakh CBSE and non- CBSE schools had participated in this competition, making it a prestigious win.
Arya Gurukul’s Master Ved Nilesh Ghanekar has been selected in the Super 100 among students participating in the painting competition.

The students claim that their art teacher, Principals, Mrs. Radhamani Iyer, Mrs. Divya Borse and Sports Director, Mr. Deepak Verma, have played a pivotal role in encouraging them to send in their entries for the national level competition. Students’ participation in these competitions helps build their confidence, enhances their general knowledge and exposes them to new challenges.

Mr. Bharat Malik, Chairman of Arya Gurukul concurs, “The students has proven yet again that talent has no limits. Ved’s painting is a true depiction of our varied culture, our rich history and our quest for independence. It gives us great joy in seeing our students represent the school at the prestigious Republic Day parade and meeting the honorable dignitaries. We hope that many students in our region will gain inspiration from them”.
