The session offered them with a deep dive into the design process by solving challenges that made the participants understand the world of Design and Design Thinking.
Addressing the participants, Professor Sanjay Jain, director, Design Education for Avantika University, said, “Design is not just a proprietary professional skill but a life skill. To help you acquire this skill the best teachers are 5Ws (Why, What, Who, Where, When) and 1H (How).” Prof. Jain presented Avantika University’s unique learning approach to aspiring students and their parents. Through his dialogue, he offered a reflection on the various facets of design as a discipline, its applications and career progression. Professor Jain highlighted the focus of Avantika about how it can help develop student’s mind through a design-centred approach that lays prominence to synthesis over analysis.
