Azim Premji University has a clear social purpose. It was established by the Azim Premji Foundation to enable the development of motivated and competent professional who can significantly contribute to the Indian education and development sectors.
Students can pursue a balanced General Programme or specialise in different areas of Education and Development.
Graduates and students in their final year of graduation from any discipline are eligible. Working professionals are encouraged.
The University gives special weightage to candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds in admissions and provides extensive academic support within the programmes.
Scholarships upto 50% covering tuition and accommodation fees for family income less than 5 lakhs per annum. In exceptional cases, 100% scholarship / monthly financial support will be considered.
Campus Placement Cell works with several organisations to create fulfilling career opportunities for students. Last year, all our students were placed through campus offers.
