On Monday, West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose paid a visit to IIT-Kharagpur, engaging with both students and faculty, as confirmed by the premier institute. His visit included witnessing a demonstration of the ‘Param Shakti’ supercomputer at the ‘Centre for Computational & Data Sciences’ on the institute’s campus, as stated in IIT-Kharagpur’s official statement.
Deputy Director Prof Amit Patra expressed IIT-Kharagpur’s immense pride in hosting Governor Bose, celebrating his presence on campus with great enthusiasm. Prof Patra highlighted the governor’s notable perspectives on merging the modern education system with ancient Indian roots.
The statement also conveyed the governor’s pledge to revisit the institute and allocate more time to interact with both faculty and students.
