Bengaluru’s international schools have once again demonstrated academic excellence in the recently announced International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results for the May 2025 session.
At Greenwood High International School 14% of the cohort scored 43, 27% scored 40 or above, and 99% of students were awarded the IB Diploma. Outgoing school captain Rishikesh Madhuvairy secured a perfect score of 45 points, placing him among the top IB students globally. Five students — Anish Vivek, Keerthana Rajesh, Maadhav Prem, Manavi Nath, and Prisha Pillai — scored an outstanding 44 points, while ten others achieved 43 points.
The school claimed that their outgoing batch of Graduates have received admissions across prestigious universities worldover. Rishikesh will pursue Materials Science at Rice University (USA), Anish joins UIUC for Computer Science, Keerthana enters Johns Hopkins University on a Pre-Medicine track, Maadhav and Prisha head to the University of Cambridge, and Manavi will study Physics at Imperial College London. Collectively, the batch has secured over USD 11.3 million in merit-based scholarships.

Meanwhile, Canadian International School (CIS), Bangalore also reported some outstanding outcomes. Two students scored 44 out of 45, while nine students secured 40 or above. The school said that the Class of 2025 secured more than 200 university acceptances from top institutions across North America, Europe, and Asia. In total, CIS graduates have been awarded over USD 3 million in scholarships.
