Bhavan Vidyalaya is a co-educational day school, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It was inaugurated by Bharat Ratna recipient, Late Sh. C. Subramanium in 1994 and functions under the aegis of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.
Bhavan Vidyalaya is an English medium, senior secondary school, offering classes from LKG to class XII.
According to a school spokesperson, “The institution strives to provide, in keeping with the aims of comprehensive quality education, to develop all facets of a child’s personality.”
Bhavan Vidyalaya is sited on a 5 acre campus in Panchkula, Haryana and hosts well-equipped science laboratories, two computer labs – one each for the junior and senior sections, a language lab, maths lab, and a social science lab. The school boasts AV rooms, three art rooms, a music room and separate libraries for the junior and senior sections. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards that facilitate quality learning.
Bhavan Vidyalaya offers facilities for outdoor sports including basketball, cricket, fencing, skating, volleyball, swimming etc. and indoor sports such as table tennis, gymnastics, aerobics, yoga, chess and carom. Other amenities include a medical centre, counseling cell, resource room and a refreshment canteen.
Bhavan Vidyalaya is affiliated to CBSE and offers a well designed curriculum for the junior and senior students. Students are prepared for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) conducted at the end of class X and class XII respectively.
While Sanskrit is introduced from class V onwards, French is offered to students at the +2 level.
Extra-curricular activities
The school pays equal emphasizes on co-scholastic activities alongside the scholastic program, and offers sports such as basketball, cricket, skating, swimming, fencing, football, table tennis, yoga, karate, chess, and gymnastics.

The principal of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, Dr. Shashi Banerjee was conferred the National Award by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
