A final-year undergraduate student was beaten to death by unidentified individuals on Patna University’s law college campus on Monday, police reported.
The victim, Harsh Raj, was a 22-year-old student at BN College, Patna University. The incident occurred in the afternoon as he was leaving his examination center.
Police stated they received information about the assault and found Harsh Raj injured on the law college campus, which falls under Sultanganj Police Station’s jurisdiction. He was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
A case has been registered, and investigators are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the assailants. A manhunt has been launched, and security personnel have been deployed on campus, according to a senior officer.
