Blue Bells School International is an English-medium coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi offering education from pre-primary to senior secondary level. It was established in 1957 at the Jorbagh area of Delhi by Marie Guha, a Hungarian lady, with 35 students on roll and soon established its status as a premier nursery institution. Under the dynamic leadership of G.Soni, the founder principal, the institution acquired its full fledged senior secondary school status affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, with 2000 students on its rolls.
In 1977, the foundation stone of the main school was laid at the present site in Kailash. The school motto is “One planet, the Earth; One Family, Mankind” and activities in support of this philosophy have included commemoration of Hiroshima Day jointly with Japanese students, participation in a campaign against communal violence in Gujarat and organizing sporting events with embassy schools. Unlike many private schools in Delhi, Bluebell School also accepts blind students.
The four storied school building comprises 90 well aired and spacious classrooms, 4 multipurpose halls, an audio visual room and a well designed auditorium. The campus also hosts 3 well stocked libraries for the primary, middle and senior sections, fully equipped and suitably designed science laboratories, and three computer labs cater to the staff and students. A state-of-the-art science park, 2 dance halls, canteen, and a recording studio comprise other facility offerings at the school.
Blue Bells School International is affiliated with CBSE and offers education from pre-primary to senior secondary level.
Extracurricular: The school believes in holistic education and promotes a host of extracurricular activities such as debates, quizzes, singing, dance and drama, sports activities such as football, basketball, tennis, and cricket, among others.
