- Dr. Shweta Aggarwal introduced emerging careers in aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry.
- Mr. Amit Tiwari’s theatre workshop encouraged creativity and confidence through performance arts.
- Mr. Kushagra Verma, an IES officer, inspired students with his journey through UPSC, offering insights into competitive exam preparation and resilience.
- Ms. Prachi Sharma provided a real-world perspective on the public relations industry.
- Dr. Rakshit Tandon conducted a highly relevant session on cybersecurity and digital safety.
We have also hosted masterclasses and workshops in collaboration with reputed institutions. Among them:
– Monash University offered academic insights into creative thinking and nutrition.
– OP Jindal Global University addressed emerging careers and media studies.
– Shiv Nadar University introduced students to critical thinking through narrative theory
– Sprix Inc., with IIT faculty, offered JEE preparation strategies.
– Financial Literacy by JIMS Institute.
– Entrepreneurship and business development by and careers in sports with faculties from Banaras Hindu University.
– Aviation was another area of exploration through a workshop conducted by Aviakul Aviation Academy, where Captain Payal Panjwani and Mr. Lakshay Panchal shared their experiences in commercial flying and drone technology.
Dishantar – our Annual Career Fair hosted representatives from over 70 universities, made it a vibrant event that connected students and parents. The students were able to connect with top universities not just from India but also from abroad. Institutions from countries including Australia, the UK, Canada, and Singapore participated, such as Monash University and Charles Sturt University (Australia), University of Surrey and University of Huddersfield (UK), University of Waterloo and University of Toronto (Canada), Illinois Institute of Technology (USA) and ESSEC Business School and SP Jain (Singapore), along with premier Indian universities like Amity, OP Jindal, Shiv Nadar, and Universal AI University, etc.
Students from Grades IX to XII explored a wide range of academic programs, career paths, and admission processes through interactive booths and personal interactions. The fair served as a gateway to both traditional and emerging careers, helping students make informed decisions about their future.
As part of our career support, students also go through Psychometric Assessments for stream and course selection, helping them identify their strengths, interests, and aptitude. These scientifically designed tools, such as Davids Battery of Differential Aptitude, Skills and Interest Tests, along with one-on-one counseling, enable students to make well-informed and confident decisions about their academic futures.
