What is Nutrition and Dietetics?

- Responsibilities include assessing nutritional requirements, diet restriction and health plans to implement dietary care plans
- Advising and counselling patients on nutritional principles, healthy eating habits and diet modifications
- Monitoring food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanity and quality standards
- Developing policies for food service/nutritional programs to assist in health promotion and disease control
