The Minister for Human Resources Development Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said on Saturday, 9 May, that 3,000 CBSE schools in the country have been selected as evaluation centres for Class 12 and 10 board exams. More than 1.5 crore answer scripts will be sent for evaluation to the homes of teachers from these centres. The entire process will take 50 days approximately.
Transportation of the answer sheets to the teachers’ houses will not face any movement restrictions except for containment zones.

Earlier, the minister announced the pending 29 board examinations for both the classes will be conducted from July 1 to 15. The CBSE will announce the detailed schedule of the examinations soon.
The CBSE’s board exam schedule will be prepared in convenience for class 12 students so that they can appear for the entrance examinations as well. The engineering entrance exam (JEE Main) will be held from July 18 to July 23 and the medical entrance exam (NEET) will be held on July 26.
