Students have been advised to beware of the fake date sheet that is in circulation on the social media regarding the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12 date sheet 2021.
The fake document allegedly suggests that the CBSE Class 12 board examinations 2021 would begin on March 15. This news has been denied by CBSE. As per the board, it has not released any dates for class 10 or 12 board examinations 2021 yet.
The Press Information Bureau, PIB Fact Check has called out the document as fake and confirmed that there is no such news as such. PIB tweeted, “A date sheet for 2020-21 class 12th examination allegedly issued by the #CBSE is in circulation on social media. #PIBFactCheck: This date sheet is #Fake.”

During a live webinar on December 10, 2020, Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ had stated that the CBSE board exam 2021 dates will be announced much before the commencement of exam. The syllabus has been reduced by 30- percent and is available on their website: cbse.nic.in.
CBSE practical exam will be held at the school level. In case, schools are not able to conduct practicals due to the pandemic, alternative solutions will be made. If similar conditions continue, an extension of board exam dates will be considered.
