CBSE issues notice against fake sample papers circulating online

February 23, 2023

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice stating that certain unscrupulous elements have created a link http://cbse.support/sp claiming that the Board has circulated 30 sample papers for class 10, 12 exams and that exam papers will be from these sample papers only and also asking for money to download these papers.
The Board has warned all its stakeholders and cautioned them to be extremely careful and not respond to any such fake messages and websites links.

Sample papers are available on CBSE website www.cbse.gov.in at free of cost. “The Board does not charge any fees from any students or parents for downloading of sample papers,” informed the notice.

Meanwhile, CBSE has already notified all its affiliated schools that WhatsApp messages should not be used for communicating with the Board or any other official related to the examination. Any observation regarding the question paper must be informed through the OECMS link shared by CBSE.

The Board has further instructed to the schools that plastic bags should be used only if the school is dispatching the answer sheets through postal services. If the sealed answer books are being delivered personally through the city coordinators to the regional office, plastic bags should not be used.

The CBSE board examination kickstarted on February 15 and will go till March 21 for class 10 and April 5 for class 12. Nearly 38 lakh students registered for the board examinations being conducted by CBSE. Of the total number of registered students, 16.79 lakh are females.

Previously, the Board had prohibited the use of ChatGPT in the examination hall. “Mobile, ChatGPT and other electronic items will not be allowed in examination hall,” CBSE had issued the instruction ahead of the examination.
