The Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced the dates of the CBSE pending examination for Class X and XII on Tuesday. The Minister said that the CBSE examinations of Class X will be conducted for the students of North East Delhi only, while the examinations of class XII will be held for students across the country. All examinations will be conducted between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm.

All the students are expected to carry their own sanitisers in transparent bottle and cover their nose and mouth with mask or cloth. They should also follow the norms of social distancing. Parents should guide their children about the precautions to avoid the spread of COVID-19 infection. All instructions issued while appearing in the examination centres will have to be strictly followed. The candidates will be given 15 minutes to read the question papers before starting to write answers from 10.30 am.

Earlier, the Minster had said the announced the CBSE examination dates stating that it would be conducted between July 1 and July 15. During a webinar with students, the minister also said that special care will be taken, while announcing the examination dates, to ensure that the students get enough time to prepare. Extending his best wishes, Pokhriyal said the CBSE board has been instructed to ensure social distancing during the examinations in the best interest of students and teachers.
