The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the dates of some class XII board exams in view of the Lok Sabha poll schedule.
Accordingly, the new dates for exams in papers such as Urdu Elective, Music Carnatic Vocal, Music Carnatic Instrument Melodic, Music Carnatic Instrument Percussion, Music Hindustani Vocal, Music Hindustani Instrument Melodic, Music Hindustani Instrument Percussion and Urdu Core will now be April 25 instead of April 9, said a CBSE spokesperson.
Likewise, the examinations for Sociology, Graphic Designs, DTP Cad & Multimedia and Business Processes Outsourcing Skills will be conducted on April 21 instead of April 10.
Similarly, on April 19, the exams will be held for subjects such as Philosophy, Entrepreneurship, Office Procedure & Practices, Cash Management & Housekeeping, Communication & Health Nursing II, Library Administration & Management, Computer & Life Insurance Administration, Basic Concept of Health & Diseases & Medical Terminology, Midwifery, Food Services-II, Geospatial Technology, Post Harvest Technology & Preservation.
The exams for these papers were originally scheduled for April 12.
According to the statement, exams for papers such as Agriculture, Creative Writing & Translation Studies, Painting, Graphics, Sculpture and Applied Art-Commercial Art will be held on April 22 instead of April 17.
The exams started on March 1.
