The term two exams for classes 10 and 12 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will commence from April 26 according to an official communication by the board.
The CBSE had previously announced in a circular regarding the conduct of Board’s Examinations for on July 5 wherein it said that Board’s examination – 2022 will be conducted in two. Term-I examinations have already been over. Term-II examinations are scheduled from April 26.
Through a circular announcing the timetable, CBSE has said that a consideration was made to help students. “CBSE is now releasing the date sheet for both the classes X and XII for Term-II Board’s Examinations, 2022. While preparing the date sheet, the Board has taken care of the following issues: As the schools were closed due to a pandemic which has led to learning losses, therefore, more gaps have been given between the two examinations in almost all the subjects in both the classes.”
Among the other aspects, it has also been decided that wherever the gap is less, such examinations have been scheduled on a later date so that students can get sufficient time for the preparation of these examinations.
Care has been taken to ensure that these dates do not coincide with that of other competitive examinations including JEE Mains. “These date sheets have been prepared by avoiding nearly 35000 subjects’ combinations to ensure that no two subjects’ examinations of a student fall on the same date,” the board said.
As summer would be at its peak around April, the board has said that despite noticing the fact that temperature would be on a higher side, the time of start of the examination will be at 10.30 am as examinations will be conducted in 26 more countries than that of India. Similarly, citing the same reason, CBSE has said that exams cannot be conducted in two shifts.
