The Central Board of Secondary Examination—India’s largest school affiliating body—plans to make its board exams for class X and XII easier from the current academic year by increasing the number of objective type questions.
The percentage of objective questions is expected to rise from the current 10 percent to 25 percent, reported the Times of India. The student will also have 33 percent more question options to choose from. The question paper will also be more structured with sections and sub sections.
The board has also devised a mechanism for real time tracking of centre superintendents who are designated to get confidential material via mobile application.
